Who We Are
We started Untamed Walls to offer an alternative to the gradations of grey popular interiors trend - we are not grey and we suspected that neither were those around us.
Instead, we wanted to offer a service that supports clients to create interiors that are reflective of themselves but also that offer calm, welcoming spaces to return to after a busy day.
As working parents of young children, we understand the importance of function and so we’re driven by creating spaces that look great, but are also easy to keep looking great, make getting out of the door easier and coming home a pleasure.
We also get that not everyone has the luxury of a large interiors budget; we will work with your individual needs, whether that is providing a blueprint for a single room that you can take forward at your own pace or a full-scale re-think of an entire home.
Our Sort service can also help you re-organise your space to better match how you live and we can provide this in tandem with your design requirements or as a separate offering.

Go-to colours
I always seem to find myself drawn to pink tones, even if it’s just a pale hue that can be used as a neutral across a whole scheme. At the moment, I’m also loving green though albeit with a distinct 70s vibe.
Reason I love design
As a child I used to get into so much trouble for moving furniture around and making ‘tweaks’ to our family home but I still couldn’t stop myself. Ultimately though I’m fascinated by how spaces inform how we feel and the impact domestic spaces have on our wellbeing. I’m also just a little bit nosy so I love to see a space that tells me a bit about the people who live in it.
Favourite home design choice
Some might find these a bit naff but I love a secret wall. I’ve used them quite a bit in my own home and love the surprise of a concealed space. I also like to use them to streamline a design.

Go-to colours
I’m a huge colour lover! I just love how colour can change a space, bring in individuality and make your heart sing. I have a Spring colour personality with a hint of Autumn, meaning my house is full of vibrant, spring-like shades, but I’m also partial to a jewel tone.
Reason I love design
I’ve been in love with transforming spaces since I can remember. I’d always come up with a design and my nan would jump up the ladder and put the plan into action! A space should reflect who you are and make your heart sing, no matter your style or design choices. It’s individuality and that’s what I love about it.
Favourite home design choice
This is tricky to choose just one! I love using the ceiling (the 5th wall) in my designs as it really brings a room together. But I’m also all for storage! Any clever design hacks I can conjure up to create more usability and storage in a room, I’m all for it!
